4-day workshop at Harvard

Sponsored by the Spatial Data Lab, The Summer Training Workshop on Spatiotemporal Innovation promoted replicable and expandable spatiotemporal data science using advanced methodology and technology. Held from July 16-19, 2024, at Harvard University, the workshop brought together experts and enthusiasts in the field to discuss cutting-edge techniques, tools, and case studies in spatiotemporal data analysis.

The workshop focused on geospatial and GeoAI analytics, providing participants with practical skills in visual programming, spatial data analysis, AI models, and their integration with GeoAI applications across various fields, including public health, business, social media, remote sensing, and environmental science.

Attendees included high school and college students. Participants highlighted the ease of using KNIME for geospatial analysis, the integration of AI in spatial modeling, and the workshop’s role in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
