AGU 2023 Fall Meeting

Multiple members from the STC center attended the AGU annual meeting for in person poster sessions, network opportunities, and observing peers’ scientific pursuits and presenting their own research initiatives. AGU23 offered a plethora of opportunities to connect and collaborate.

There are presentations produced from four projects of Air Quality systematic AI study (funded by NASA AIST), computing infrastructure and ClassX (funded by NASA Goddard CISTO), and Trasitioning ClassX to support Hileophysics (funded by NASA MADRAIT and NOAA).

The ClassX team Theodore Spanbauer, Anusha Srirenganathan, Ayesha Hussain Shaik also conducted I-Corps interviews at the AGU meeting.

As a highlight, Phoebe Pan, an ASSIP fellow from Thomas Jefferson High School delivered an oral presentation of the mutation of aerosol optical depth observation data using spatiotemporal and artificial intelligence methods (the project is co-sponsored by NASA AIST and Goddard CISTO).
