Background:
Qian Liu published her latest paper, “Cross-track infrared sounder cloud fraction retrieval using a deep neural network”, in the journal, Computers & Geosciences. This paper uncovers how cloud fractions of satellite hyper-spectral sounder are crucial for numerical weather prediction and proposes an AI-based cloud fraction retrieval model for cross-track infrared sounder (CrIS).
