SDL’s Spring Training Workshop on Spatiotemporal Analysis

SDL’s recent Spatiotemporal Analysis Workshop drew 20+ participants from global labs. The intensive five-day event featured hands-on training using KNIME Analytics Platform, focusing on Geospatial extension. Following this, attendees collaborated on group reports covering diverse topics like healthcare accessibility, urban inequality, heat waves, and GeoAI in entrepreneurship research. The workshop promoted knowledge exchange and innovative solutions in spatiotemporal analysis.

A Special Issue Collaboration on Replicability and Reproducibility in GeoAI Models and Their Application in Social Science

SDL, in collaboration with the Journal of Urban Informatics, announces a special issue on “Replicability and Reproducibility in GeoAI Models for Social Science.” Featuring selected papers from the upcoming Symposium on Spatiotemporal Data Science in July and inviting submissions from the CGA Conference in May, this issue encourages diverse contributions like Review papers, Perspective papers, or Commentary papers. We seek insights into GeoAI’s impact on social science research, emphasizing a range of formats beyond traditional research papers.
