On December 18th, we explored the complex relationship and challenges involving ethics, trust, and confidence of field of digital twins. The 6th digital twin webinar brought together a distinguished panel of scholars leading us into the multifaceted opportunities and challenges inherent in this growing realm of research! The webinar was moderated by Moderators: Dr. Bo Zhao an associate professor from University of Washington and Dr. Chaowei Phil Yang the director of NSF Spatiotemporal I\/UCRC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our keynote speaker Dr. Daniel Sui is the senior vice president for research and innovation at Virginia Tech. He presented \u201cExploring New Horizons of Ethical Digital Twins: Towards a Convergence Approach<\/em>\u201d. The panel consisted of two panelist Dr. Peter Darch, an associate professor from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Faculty Affiliate, National Center for Supercomputing Applications; With Dr. Junhwan King an Assistant Professor, Smart Cities for Good, Department of Geography from Virginia Tech presented \u201cDigital Twins for Understudied Cities: Small- and Medium-sized Cities in the U.S.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
